The short version

This site sets no analytics cookie until you accept one. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and ignoring the banner counts as a rejection.

Essential storage

We store your cookie choice in your browser so that we do not ask again on every page. We also use your browser session to make sure a partially completed quote form is not recorded twice. Neither is used to track you and neither can be switched off, because without them the site cannot work properly.

Analytics cookies

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure which pages lead to enquiries. Consent Mode v2 is configured to deny analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation by default. Only analytics storage is ever granted, and only when you press Accept. If you reject, or later withdraw consent through the cookie settings link in the footer, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted immediately.

Third parties that set no cookie

Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site and OpenStreetMap serves the maps. Neither sets a cookie. Both receive your IP address as part of the request that fetches the file, which is how the web works rather than something we have added. Maps are lazy-loaded, so no request is made unless you scroll to one.

A note for anyone checking our tag

Automated checkers, including Google’s own, will report that the analytics tag is not detected on this site. That is what a consent gate looks like from the outside: the tag genuinely is not there until someone accepts. It is not a misconfiguration.
